NOVOPLAST - About our Company
WHEN WE DESCRIBE PLASTIC PACKAGING AS AN ART FORM, WE MEAN IT LITERALLY.
Creating product packaging is not only an enjoyable task; it’s also a huge responsibility. This is even more true when it comes to food. Packaging for cream cheese, gourmet salads, milkshakes, pâté, butter and yoghurt must achieve so much more than simply look appealing on supermarket shelves. For nearly 100 years, our name has stood for that “special something extra”.
NOVOPLAST
WHAT DEFINES US
Nearly 100 years of experience
Small, but exceptional
Specialists in thin-wall injection molding
A company with a strong family ethos
Extensive expertise in the dairy industry
As specialists in injection-moulded plastic packaging solutions, Novoplast is among the technology and market leaders in our industry. We are a medium-sized, family-owned company based in Germany’s Allgäu region, with an international reach. Our customer base includes many of the “big hitters” in the European food industry – companies that have chosen to place their trust in Novoplast as a valued partner; in some cases, for many years.
Working closely with our customers, we create innovative packaging solutions, often inspired by a specific product idea. These solutions meet all necessary criteria, such as distinctive shapes and colours, advanced technology, hygiene and ease of handling. Everything is produced at our Leutkirch facility, where both large and small production runs are handled on cutting-edge injection moulding machines, with decorative options such as in-mould labelling or offset printing. Our expertise lies in ensuring total customer satisfaction – this is our craft, our skill, and our art.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
We always think big –except when it comes to our CO2 footprint.
For many years, Novoplast-Verpackungen GmbH Co. KG has been committed to reducing or avoiding emissions and other harmful environmental impacts.
Our certification under the DIN EN ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems standard demonstrates our ongoing commitment to improving the energy efficiency of our production processes and site operations, year after year. This approach saves resources, reduces our CO2 footprint and helps combat both the greenhouse effect and climate change.
We are certified in accordance with the GKV Code of Conduct, which, in addition to numerous competition law, ethical and social principles, also requires compliance with the principles of the UN Rio Declaration on Environmental Protection.
Novoplast-Verpackungen GmbH Co. KG consistently meets all legal, regulatory and industry-specific requirements. We also fulfil the expectations of society and our customers as a responsible, eco-friendly and sustainable business. Our aim is to create an environment in which future generations can thrive.
We are deeply committed to waste prevention and are actively working to ensure that no raw materials harm the natural environment. To this end, we have embraced the “Zero Pellet Loss” initiative launched by the German Plastics Packaging Association (IK).
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
We manufacture here. We live here. We contribute here.
For a century, our company has been rooted in Germany’s Allgäu region, to which we feel a deep connection. Beyond our role as an employer, we regularly engage in charitable projects, sponsor local events and support various organisations. For over a decade, we’ve partnered with two workshops for people with disabilities, who assemble injection-moulded products for us every day. It’s a cause that’s truly close to our hearts!
For us, compliance means actively addressing legal requirements, ensuring transparent processes and taking responsibility.
This is an essential foundation for building long-term trust and sustaining strong business relationships.
By setting this standard, Novoplast-Verpackungen leads by example, helping to ensure that compliance becomes a natural and essential part of corporate culture across our industry and beyond.
COMPLIANCE
Compliance is essential for ensuring lawful and responsible corporate governance. At Novoplast-Verpackungen, we take compliance seriously. This year marks our seventh successful recertification under the industry code of the German Plastics Processing Industry Association (GKV Code of Conduct).
This achievement reflects Novoplast-Verpackungen’s strong commitment to upholding legal regulations and ethical standards. It’s not just about avoiding fines or protecting our reputation – it’s about fostering mutual respect and a sense of duty in our relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
Recyclability
IML technology
In-mould labelling (IML) is an innovative labelling technique for plastic packaging. We exclusively use polypropylene (PP) labels, which bond with the molten polymer (also PP) in a single step during the moulding process, creating sustainable monomaterial packaging. This packaging is 100% recyclable and environmentally friendly, since it eliminates the need for adhesives and consists of a single material. It also enables cost-efficient production and flexible designs that are hard to achieve with conventional printing methods.
QUALITY
This is what we mean when we talk about “typical Novoplast quality”:
We produce a vast range of products, but everything that leaves our factory has one thing in common: the unmistakable Novoplast quality. This includes not only our products but also how we think, act and what drives and guides us.

With every project, we bring our wealth of expertise to the table. We know what works, how it works – and how to make it even better.
